Heating

You depend on your furnace to take care of your home and family heating needs. That’s exactly why we build every Trane 90 gas to be as durable and reliable as possible. Trane 90 furnaces are quiet and cost less to operate with a very high AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency). They are so efficient that over 90% of the fuel you pay for is actually converted into heat for your home. And, the temperature control is precise, delivering a higher level of comfort. You get clean comfortable air even when the weather outside is frigid.

Comfort by Design

Each Trane furnace is intelligently designed – with innovative technological touches throughout. That puts this generation of furnaces in a whole new class.

Every component is interrelated and balanced to support one another. And the entire furnace is operated by an integrated control that constantly adjusts for maximum efficiency and ultimate comfort.

Two-stage and variable-speed

Two-stage furnaces typically run at the first stage (65% of full capacity) up to 80% of the time. This virtually eliminates short cycling and swings in the home. The furnace runs longer but at an energy-saving level – increasing the circulation of warm air as the system has longer to “stir” the warm air into the environment. When more heat is needed, the second stage is called upon for added comfort.

Get cozy with variable-speed and Comfort-R.

The TRANE XV90 includes a variable-speed blower with Comfort-R mode for even more comfort and humidity control. A variable-speed motor is quieter, eliminating noisy start-up and shutdown. Variable-speed helps distribute warm air more evenly into every room-even in hard-to-heat rooms. Our exclusive Comfort-R, Which is preset by your installer, permits even further fine tuning-allowing a preset delay, which provides greater humidity control in cooling.

Here’s How It Works.

The integrated technology packed inside the 40” high cabinet is what sets the Trane 90 furnaces apart from the rest.

Lets begin with the multi-port inshot burners. Like a shower head, a small orifice spreads the gas, mixes it with air, and shapes and directs the flame into the heat exchanger. A key design element is the Trane patented heat exchanger with its serpentine shaped-channel. As air flows over the heat exchanger, an induction vent fan quietly pulls hot gases through the channel. The thin profile of the heat exchanger offers low airflow resistance. Which means less work for the blower motor, making it more efficient and reliable.

Indoor Comfort Starts Outdoors With The XV 90 Direct Vent.

In those areas of the country where direct venting is preferred or is required by local code, or where the furnace may be exposed to corrosive materials which could lead to component damage, we have designed our Trane XV 90 Direct Vent gas furnace to meet those needs. The XV 90 Direct Vent avoids exposure to these elements by using 100% outdoor air for combustion. A Direct Vent furnace simply means that the air used for furnace combustion comes from outside your home so your comfort really begins outdoors. Because the XV 90 Direct Vent gas furnace uses outside air, the furnace can be placed in a small space without concern for adequate combustion air supply. And it meets all local building codes requiring 100% outdoor air capability.

One Smart Furnace

Key furnace control functions are integrated into one microelectronic system. In fact, this smart controller monitors all the system components. It listens to the thermostat for precise temperature control and monitors the gas valve to ensure combustion and proper gas flow. With its self-diagnostic capability. the controller searches for system problems and works to resolve them. Problems, when found, are red flagged for easy repair. And, in the event of a power or fuel interruption, the controller resets and restarts the system. The result is a furnace like no other. Quieter. More efficient. More reliable.

A Warranty Made For A Lifetime.

One of the most comforting parts of the XV 90 gas furnace is our limited lifetime heat exchanger warranty. Now you can relax in comfort as long as you own your home.

A Tradition Of Innovation.

Innovation and expert engineering have been a hallmark of The Trane Company since 1931 when our founder, Ruben Trane, patented the company’s first air conditioning system. From that time on, Trane has been a leader in the advancement of heating and air conditioning technology.

Precise adherence to quality control allows us to offer a full line of exceptional units at every efficiency level.

Designed To Fit Anywhere.

Perhaps what catches your eye is the compact design of the XV 90 gas furnace. It’s only about 40 inches tall and fits in almost any tight space. All of which are convertible to horizontal configurations. Which means that you can enjoy Trane comfort, efficiency, and dependability no matter where it has to fit in your home.

Buckley Parnell Heat & Air Has The Special Training.

When buying a home comfort system, selecting the right size is crucial. A unit that is too small lacks the capacity to give you the comfort you want. A unit that is too large costs more to buy and when it short cycles, costs more to operate.

Buckley Parnell has been trained to help you determine your comfort needs. When we help you select the right system for your home, you can rest assured you made a good choice.
